Installation rules for "Détails Photos" (autoportraits)

NO LIGHTNING REFLECTION TO BE SEEN ON THE SURFACE OF THE "DETAILS PHOTOS"

When the aging process is not obvious, self-portraits date back to the same period. Shots make up a string with a 2.6 cm interval between them (equivalent to Roman OPALKA’s thumb).

The focus point must be about 160-170 cm off the ground (Roman OPALKA’s and onlooker’s eyes on a par level). When the signs of age are distinct between two shots, the period is clearly different, ruling out a string based on a minimal space of 2.6 cm.
Accordingly, it’s essential for the linearity of the installation to respect the pace and cadences of the various ages of life, using gaps clearly wider than the minimal interval between self-portraits dating back to the same period.

A presentation of Roman OPALKA’s work in English and the local language must be on display, framed in exactly the same way as the shots.
